FAST FUNDING FROM THE DIGITAL ENTREPRENEUR CLUB :

31ST JULY 2013 ADAM STREET CLUB, LONDON

“SING FOR YOUR FINANCE SUPPER” AT EUROPE’S ONLY INSTANT DECISION FUNDING FORUM

The Digital Entrepreneur Club, one of the UK’s most focused and innovative new business clubs, has announced the second of its “pitch and supper events” on the evening of July 31st at the Adam Street Club in central London.

These events bring a straight-talking and straight-forward approach to identifying and receiving seed and Angel funding to promote further growth of digital commerce based projects.

The first one held earlier this year in  May 2013 saw Nick Brummitt, founder of FabFob (www.fabfob.com) receive some 20k’s worth of investment from members of the Digital Entrepreneur as a direct result of the pitch that he presented.

The format of the event, being held at the Adam Street Club on the 31st July is split into two sections. The first hour is when potential digital innovators make their pitch for finance and investment from the existing members of the Digital Entrepreneur inner circle. Members of the larger digital community are welcome to attend and this observe the pitch process.

Once the pitches have been made the new business innovators retire for dinner with the investment panel. That is only for full members and invited guests.

Becoming a member of the Digital Entrepreneur Club is tightly controlled to ensure that both existing entrepreneurs and potential digital innovators have the most concise and targeted investment platform possible. The criteria to be a member is clear;

The entrepreneur started the business from scratch

That business now generates £1M+ revenue – which has to be recorded and demonstrated

As an individual or organization you see digital commerce methods as critical to expansion and continued success.

Duncan Gledhill, founder of the Digital Entrepreneur club commented;” The move towards crowd sourcing has been a huge success and has allowed literally thousands of potential new business ideas get off the ground.”

“However I believe that there is now a keen need for entrepreneurs and investors to look each other in the eye and ask serious and critical questions.  The Digital Entrepreneur Club provides that forum and that is what makes it very different from the numerous other digital networking organisations in Europe; talk is cheap, money and expertise build businesses and that is what The Digital Entrepreneur Club delivers,” concluded Gledhill.

On the 31st July 2013 we will be seeing pitches from Kate Jackson from www.tablecrowd.com and Sebastien Powell from www.flavrbox.com –
